Pinery Antique Flea Market features 300 vendors
The Pinery Antique Flea Market has been offering a venue for those looking for unique finds for over 50 years and it continues to grow. Located on Highway 21 near Grand Bend, the market runs from May until October and is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday.
What started as a collection of antique vendors in the 1960s has grown into a large, open-air market that gives a perfect chance for people to get some fresh air and find some unique items. The site features more than 300 vendors as well as a 10,000 square foot antique museum that draws visitors to the park even during wet weather.
The market is a family destination that boasts snacks, food and a licensed beverage garden next to a stage that usually features live music. The beverage garden is served out of a 1930s-style gas station that makes a great place for people to relax while their significant others are shopping.
The market now includes a handmade vintage market and a farmers’ market in addition to the market’s usual fare. They have also added a classic car cruise-in every Sunday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. There are also a number of special events on the market’s calendar, including the ninth annual Ford and Mercury truck show onāJune 9, street food Sundays every Sunday in July and August, the ice cream festival on Sept. 15 and Bark-toberfest, a festival for craft beer and dogs, on Sept. 29.
